I have some 20groove 3Gs that im going to be taking off, im not too keen on the noise they make and the misses deffo hates them. Thinking of getting some standard ones or maybe just drilled, how much are they and where should i get them from? www.buypartsby.com have Delphi discs for £50 a pair are they any good?

What's wrong with them? Is the noise attributable only to the discs? My 10-groove 3G's are excellent.

I would say go for std discs or the 10grove discs instead as the drilled discs are a water of time. There are some on ebay at the min as well for the coop i think.
Used discs would be best sold with the pads you have with them at the moment so as to best get the most out of your new discs as its never reccomended using used pads on new discs, not good for breaking them in...

I occasionally get the "propeller" noise under braking (low speed when wet), but the discs are otherwise silent.

so why didnt you go for the 10G discs if you didn't want the increased noise out of interest? The 10G's are hardly any different over standard TBH, just a slight increase in noise when braking from high speed.
Sideways a LOT

Fancy doing a swap with my LE drilled discs? They've done about 12K and are about half worn.

From memory: they have a very slight lip but do not look too worn (I don't ever brake excessively). I suppose it's difficult to evaluate them precicely without a micrometer, which I don't posess. A 3 month old pic of them here: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y67/thorman/Car/DSC03319.jpg

I really like the noise from my brakes, doesnt happen so much now but when i had the pads replaced (just standard ones) for the first month or so the noise was loverly, kinda like a jet engine slowing down or something.
