Hey guys.

The time might just have finally arrived. I know from reading some of the historic posts some of you thought I was lying dead in a ditch somewhere but no, still warm is the blood that courses through my veins. I even spotted that someone thought I had joined the Airforce.

They were not far wrong though, about 3 and a half years ago not long after getting the coupe fixed after the aux belt let go.

I was out driving and the dam box decided to stick in third, after nursing the coupe home. I went online and bought a Z3 m and picked it up the next day as I needed transport to get down to a new military language course I was starting. I spent the next year chained to a desk studying Pashto, and since then I have been in a wonderful place called Afghanistan (still here.) due home start of May thank god.

My problem is I am due to be married in the next year or so and will be immigrating to the Czech Republic; this leaves me with a dilemma. I love my coupe to bits. But I can’t justify putting even more power into it which is what I will want to do if I keep it. And with the move to the Czech Republic coming up I think the time has come to sell my beloved coupe… It breaks my heart…

I think I am going to speak to barbz first and see if he wants it…

If not it will be open to offers from you guys on the forum…

I just wanted to say thanks for all the good times, and a wealth of help you have all given me over the years…

Oh and if anybody is wondering about the spec,, look at Barbz’s site here…

http://www.torqueitalia.com/tunedby_mav.asp

This is without my Hoosiers, as I sold them to Flea a while ago and the git went and did an 11.9 on them… Well done mate…

Cheers

Mavric

To echo what Marco said; you do exist then! laugh

As someone from the North West, I thought you were an urban myth. I've heard so much about you and your coupé and now I know why I've never seen you at Meets, Events etc.

Sad to hear that you'll probably be selling but at the same time "Good Luck" for the future. cool

I also hope that yours doesn't go the same way as JohnS's - do you have a price in mind?

Hi Mavric smile

Nice to see you're still alive cool

Glad things are going well for you, although a shame you're having to give the Coupe up.

Good luck for the future and hope you'll still pop in here from time to time, just to let us know how you're getting on smile

Good to hear from you again Mavric. I saw you at TOTB back in 2007 (maybe earlier?).

Good luck with the sale

Ditto.

Hope your good mate. Drop me a pm once you've spoken to Barbz.

Hi Mavric

Glad you could drop in by and it's sad to see that things have changed quite dramatically for you in the past couple of years. Last time I saw you was at TOTB too, but when your wheel fell off though laugh

I remember mate, I was more worried when it shot off towards the drag strip. Just glad it didn't pop off at 169mph on the mile drag run about 20 mins prior.
We must be thankful for the small things.
I have had a good look around and it seems as though the coupe never made it out here to Afghanistan. You have a choice of white toyota or venga bus....

Nice car though. Plenty of love and attention lavished on it. And money...

I remember that! Half a minute or so earlier and it could have equalled carnage on the strip shocked.

At least your timing wasn't out wink
