Hi, I'm liking the idea of widening my Coupe's track, so I'm thinking about wheel spacers. I'm using standard 20vt wheels with Toyo T1-Rs in 205/50/16, how much is a reasonable amount to widen it? 10mm? 20mm? Also, would I get more benefit from doing the front and rear, or just the rear? I'm running on Eibach springs, lowered by approximately 35mm, standard dampers. Thanks.

two years of running my 22mm spacers and 18" alloys with no bearing noise or wear to report. Only covered about 17 miles in that time though eh, Jimbo?

3mm whell spcers can be fitted with standard bolts and still allow the wheel to sit on the spigot. I doubt you would see any improvment in handling. Another issue with spacers is many are multifit which in reality means very little metal. This reduces the ability for the brakes to dissipate heat into the wheels.

Added a 13mm spacer almost a year ago to upsize from our standard 16 to a 17. Hubcentric. So, far so good. Have been on track in 3 occassions, the wheels still intact
