Definately hope not... The Meastro Turbo is higher still!

In saying that I dont think MSN have much of a clue, as the following drivel about Turbo's explains....

Boosted beasts? What on earth are we going on about?

Well when we say boosted we are of course referring to turbo and supercharged cars - motors that have had an extra bit of fire power breathed on them.

But before we get started, first the science bit: turbos work by taking the exhaust gases and forcing them back into the engine while a supercharger uses a belt to force air into the engine.

Both prodvide huge gains in power, but the difference in performance terms is that turbos suffer from a slight delay while the supercharger provides an instantaneous hit.

So sit back and enjoy our rundown of the 50 greatest 'boosted' cars of all time...

Science?? rolleyes Half Wits laugh

Yet more proof. Naturally I was looking to see if the Monaro VXR500 made it in there. Thankfully it did, and it got the following write-up:

The VXR500 didn't come in yellow. In fact, the standard Monaro VXR 6.0 didn't even come in yellow either!! You have to go back to the first lot of CV8s to get that colour.. rolleyes

Having said that I'm pretty sure they only publish these lists to give petrolheads something to argue over, so in that respect they've succeeded laugh

Numpty's they may be, but they still got one part right, classing the coupe as a 'masterpiece' smile

They publish lists because it's supposed to get the article ranked more favourably by Google.

Loads of websites/publishers have started doing it - from cars to the most random websites. Means you can also get far more product names in the article - again Googletastic.

Spread it over pages like that one and it'll also get a lot more clicks, and means people spend more time on your website - all great info to go back to the advertisers with.
