OK, as a Coupe owner I'm biased of course, but the reason for dismissing the coop 'poor ownership experience' is ridiculous!

Alfa dealer service is notoriously bad, the cars have just as many reliability issues and the poor practicality compared with the coop (tiny rear seats & boot) will be a downer on the ownership experience!

I'll admint the gtv is gorgeous, and the interior is a bit nicer than the coop's but exterior wise the coop is just as pretty - its merely a matter of personal taste.

They also neglected to mention that the 20VT was the quickest & most powerful of all the cars they tested & probably among the cheapest!

Lets be honest the GTV is a damn pretty car from most angles.

BUT like Mikeyc, I am probably biased, the Coupe' Fiat is just a small bit prettier. The problem is that it's a FIAT, if the GTV was made by Fiat and the Coupe by Alfa, I have sneaking suspicion that the Fiat GTV would have been eliminated due to poor rear seat, boot etc, while the Coupe' Alfa would have been praised to the high heavens!

Like Clarkson (Where did he get that outfit BTW? he looks like a singer with a East European rock band), I often find myself simply admiring the Coupe's lines, the attention to detail, the headlight covers that look divine and the petrol cap that makes every visit to a petrol station a pleasure. (Have you noticed how other drivers stare as you fill up?).

So yes I love the Alfa it is pretty but the Coupe' edges it (just).

i think the interior in the alfa is nicer,looks wise i think the fiat edges it due to the alfa's rear end,and i did really want the 3.0 v6 but the rear seats in the alfa are not exsistent

Had the petrol cap driver envy in the forecourt today while fillin the tank, got som looks. And 2 weeks into ownership the glances by oncoming drivers, plus being let out of junctions and the courtesy given is great.....
Have to say i loved my Alfa of the past, but the Coupe is way more special, even the boy racers and the older boy racers still respect the Coupes power and prowess from when it was launched...
