Does the 16vt share the same bolt pattern ( 3 bolt )as the cosworth style exhaust housing ?

It's almost the same but not entirely.
Cozzy housings have a slightly larger PCD so you'll have to widen the holes in the downpipe in order to make it fit.

If you're planning to reuse the cozzy actuator (-31 actuator for example) it will hit the gearbox so a bit of filing is necessary there too.

It does fit in the end.
