Just wondered, how many of you guys only use the coop at weekends?

I tend to use at weekends..... Diesel during the week........

Mines been retired to (dry) fun days now.
About 1300 miles of fun per annum.
Always feels more special now it's not a daily drive.

Would the car cope being just used for the weekend? I've heard a lot of people advise against it but surely it must be fine if it had a good run every weekend and was well looked after?

Mine is only used for the weekend. Been a daily driver up until 7-8 months ago. Will hopefully be getting a nice warm garage soon as well :-)

i prefer taxi's at the weekend

For me, i'll keep the coop as a daily driver for as long as I possibly can and get a 500bhp V8 Shelby Mustang for the weekends.

I can imagine hearing a Shelby V8 fire up on a Saturday morning would wipe the cobwebs away.

High days and dry days for me.

Only at weekends when the weather is dry which sadly is not often.

When i eventually get one it will be a daily drive.

Second car for me so only really used for fun

My first Coop one was my daily driver, did 30,000 miles a year in it.

This one now is only used for weekends/when I simply can't resist driving it.

All other times when my head rules my heart the Volvo S60 diesel gets used.

Sensibly speaking I much prefer it this way, all the fun of a Coop, no paranoia, makes driving it even more special, and keeps the mileage low.

Mine was initially a daily drive, then became a second car for a couple of years and is now a daily drive again.

FWIW It has only ever chucked one at me whilst not being a daily driver. I think it was jealous of my weekday hack.

Mine is a weekend car with the occassional trip out during the week.. Everyday ride is my Trek MTB

Mine's been weekends only for the last three years or so. The daily drive in the Punto keeps the Coupe feeling very special
