205/45/17 On gtech i get 0-100 in 7sec .I have a problem on the gearbox with the 3rd and it doesn`t enter smooth,so i think that the 0-100 time is affected by the changeing from 2 to 3 gears.

thanks a lot guys . I see that there is all about the launch ... my time on gtech was 7.08 best for 0-100 km/h ,and since i knew that 0-60mph stock should be in 6.8s I thought that 0-62mph will be in 7s ... but now I read that the 16vt stock does 0-100km/h in 7.5 and has nothing to do with the changeing from 2 to 3 it`s silly to ask , but on the dinks stg1 chip , the revlimiter is on 6500 or 7000 ? and what`s the stock revlimit ?

should be 283kmh ..
24,5mph / 1000rpm
7,2 x 24,5mph = 176,4mph
1,609 x 176,4mph = 283,8kmh

Ah, probably tire difference. Mine was measured on dyno, with 195-45-R16.

You can work out speeds at any rpms by running formulas over gear ratios and tyre sizes. Any other method (road test data or dyno runs) are going to be innaccurate. They're using machines that need to be calibrated for accuracy. Gear ratios and tyre circumferences don't change.
