Ok, I'll be the first then, I don't know this car but I have met the owner on a few occassions, I've seen and been out in his plus and yellow 20vt both cars were spotless, basically what I'm trying to say is if you want a great car that has been well looked after then you can't go far wrong buying this one I'm sure. I want it but I haven't got the cash. Good luck with the sale, you'll have another one mate I'm sure

Thanks for that yes this is my 3rd coupe, but now with buying house (on my own), this will certainly be my last I don't want to sell it!, but I couldn't stand seeing it detiorate on a shoestring budget, after spending nearly £900 in 4 months gettin it sorted.

I suppose some may be wondering why I not only brought a coupe, but then spent that amount when buying a house on my own!

Well I'd better answer that to prove my reasons for selling - basically when I returned to Coop ownership I wasn't buying the house! now my direction has changed totally, mainly due to me getting a deposit suitable for a house.

So the coupe will now have to go, or risk not having any money spent on it after November 16th

looks much better than all the crap on ebay and autotrader for more cash. looks a good one, bet its snapped up v soon

Thanks yes I'm very picky when it comes to cars, esp coupes!. I've just realised I haven't put the photos of the cosmetic issues on my PhotoBucket album - I will get onto this today

I hope it generates enough interest to get around my asking price - it should do with a brand new engine in 2006 if not it will definitly be kept

to put in in perspective, sadly what eBay/Piston heads etc users won't realise, but FCCUK forum members will, is this car just 18 months ago would be up for £3.8 - 4K at least

I bought JLow's Yellow 20VT and can honestly say, is was the cleanest, tidiest and well cared for example I looked at.

The boost gauge in the dash was a work of art

This one looks a peach. If ever I was to be tempted back into coupe ownership, this car would do it.

Sorry to see you selling Jamie, but needs must I suppose.

All I can add is that from the photos you really have done a lot to it since you bought it off me (and it wasn't bad before that) - its looking great and must be the best Coupé at that price in the country. Its got a specialist service history as long as your arm and had a succession of owners who have treated it sympathetically.

To anyone looking to buy a Coupé: this should be on your list and Jamie is very straightforward and honest to deal with.

I'm still loving my new car, but if I ever wanted to buy a Coupé again, I'd track this one down.

hmmm this is really tempting me. I was going to hold out for a plus but i could be swayed...

Sammi - to be honest, this is as good as they get. Yes, a Plus would be more desirable, but it will also cost you a grand more, AND it could still need a grand's worth of work.

At the age that Coupes are, its all about history and provenance, rather than age and mileage.

I'd like to think that my car would fall into this category - if I ever came to sell it, few people would be bothered by its mileage, chosing to focus on the work its had over the years.

No it was just a 20VT with red LE Brembo's & skirts twas mint

it was 'Munchkins' then 'TwistyWizards'

I would have that Broomer back tomorrow, if it was still in the same condition - it's my favorite colour
