I'd agree on the basis of the photos. However (and it's good to see an honest vendor):
Finished in Sprint Blue there are just a few little stone chips on the snout of this car, but otherwise the bodywork stands up well for a car that is coming up to twelve years old. There are some signs of small smart repairs to the bumpers and valance, but there are no nasty dents or scratches to detract from the good looks of this great little coupe.
I suspect that if what the vendor is saying is "no nasty paintwork or major dings" then we are probably talking in the same ballpark as a good condition plus from a forum owner.

This is torture... I'm at least two years off being able to afford one again, and these gems seem to keep popping up! I was hanging my nose over this tidy looking 20VT[6] yesterday, though it's not nearly as well presented as this Sprinty (if only all garages took the time to present cars that thoroughly...) *sigh* Must. Stop. Looking. Someone reassure me that there'll still be such fine unmolested examples of Coupe-dom available when I have the money to buy one again?

Interesting to see the Merc AMG, a mate of mine runs C & N customs who restored it. Small world. On seeing the AMG, I looked up C&N customs - they are two minutes walk from my house, just along the lane. I might well pay them a visit next year to take a look at some minor bodywork issues on my Merc - would they do a minor rust repair and respray (passenger door) or do they only take on bigger jobs?

I think that's probably as good a coupe as you'll find in the trade. It even has the factory sunroof which were pretty rare on the later cars. I hate the colour but it's got to be a very tempting proposition for someone on here who likes it. In the same family from new is a very big plus factor(sorry).
Price is reasonable IMHO.

Lets start with Proccy. Oh sod off Proccy No I plan to alter the Plus I get and given that these are rare I think I would pass on it for someone like yourself who wants that spec. I would only be having it re-sprayed Pearl which is pointless really. Still nice car and worth a good look if you are interested Marco.

Arg, if only they posted this advert last week!
Oh well its a grand more than what I just paid, I guess that covers the carpet we just bought... Carpet versus Plus goodies, what a depressing comparison. That's ruined my day!
Do they mention cambelt, red key, warranty etc in the ad, I looked at the ad quickly last night, may have missed that?
Makes you feel slighly ill when these beauties come up just after you handed over cash for something else. Mine better be a goodin when I collect it next week!

I've got a client that is based right near these guys - seen their collection of porsches a few times and it looks like the kind of place that does things properly and you feel you can trust.
Rocker cover aside (and i'd imagine that is purely a cosmetic concern) it looks great...oh to have £5k!

Nice motor but no mention of when the belts were done. I think with a bit of effort you could have the same car for a lot less.

Well given that's only the fifth sprint blue plus I have seen up for sale in seven years, you may be waiting a while £5k at a dealer for a one owner car with well below average mileage is an extremely fair price, I imagine it will come with some form of warranty too.

Could you not buy a well sorted plus in any colour for say £3k and then get a respray? Just a thought.

well a proper respray is going to cost you at least 2k. . . and thats cheap for engine out full inside and out spray.
Then if you pick up a plus for £3k no doubt its going to need some coupe TLC which equates to $$$ so in my opinion its worth holding out, spending a bit more and getting it right.
Im my case i want a pearl white plus . . . so thats going to be a diff story.

Hi all! I bought it after my last coupe was writtrn off by a Mazda Bongo pulling out in front of me so I have'nt been on here for while. I got it for £4000. The body work is ok after a real good t.cut and polish although the front bumper needs respraying. The cam belt needed replacing and the radiator which reflects on the price I paid for it. The interior is spotless still with the original mats. It's only done 59k and is a fantastic drive. I love it! Very good dealership - keen to source more turbo plus'.
