as far as i'm aware i think that barbz's induction pipe is 3" at the filter end and therefore you need the 75mm adaptor kit (model no. 500-A026). very bizarre you mention this as was thinking the same thing after seeing that ad on ebay. the model in the picture is 500-A021.

how ? by getting a straight reduser pipe or vice verser if the adapter is bigger than the silicone pipe on my s i p?

Well, you're straight induction pipe will need to connect to the afm at the filter end before it connects to the filter, and the afm takes an 80mm silicone hose.

Dont know how you propose to use the bolt on flange to connect it?

bugger im not sure it will fit think its for a skyline thats what the bolts are for any 1 else know how i could adapt it to fit?? surpose id have to adapt a piece of alloy pipe could be more hassle than is worth

It's hard to tell. Perhaps the adaptor flange bolts to the bottom of the filter, and then you can attach a silicon hose between it and the AFM.

Or is that what you meant in the first place?

I guess now you can see some of the effort that went into getting the induction pipe and filter together as a kit
