i am having major problems with my ariel and cannot find a adaptor to fit it. it is the grey cable behind the headunit and i have tried 4 headunits and it fits none of them. it is like the long pin type adaptors but thinner and won't fit. my clarion headunit also has a wierd connector as its quite deep but needs a female adaptor but nothing h have found is deep enough.
i am thinking of cutting the cable and buying a normal exstention but i can;t find one to suit the head unit.
help please.

hi.
i have sorted this out now. i turns out after looking closer that the ariel has snapped in the headunit making it look like a strage setup. i have had 4 guys look at this and no one noticed and today i worked it out.
took the headunit apart and got the broken ariel alout and then spliced the ariel wire and put a new plug on it and now i have great radio :-)
doning well in sorting these odd jobs out on the coop. :-)
