I have bought myself an immaculate very low mileage coupe and sorted the insurance. After an accident in 2007 I had 4 years no claims when i cancelled my last insurer when I sold the Alfa. Now I cant find ANY shred of documents to prove last insurer, nor do I remember the insurer (i THINK it was First Alternative) for my no claims discount. Am I up the creek with no paddle? Appreciate any advice, thanks .

check bank statements to see who you paid the money to.

I have, even tracked the refund down, all it said was visa refund no company name ! damn it, will phone up who I think it may be to see if im right tomorrow. What a fool :-)
