I travelled 4.5 hours yesterday to see leighton, left the car with him, and with in 45mins he rang me to tell me what the chip that i was running at the time was like, and i think awful and dreadful came in to the conversation dont worry its not any of the Gtech chips any way it was running some thing like 9.5afr between 3k and 4.5k so very rich and i think about 12.5 at the top end so not good at all. Any way i left him to it and i walked into bristol and around i think i walked about 6mile in that heat. Onbce i got back to Leightons he explained what he had done and said that it was one of the top 2 cars he had mapped as in the amount of tuning he could do to it with out any det, which i felt good about, and im sure he will come on at some point and explain, any way it all went in one ear and out the other as i dont really understand it all, he also fitted a 3.8fpr to the car as well. so i paid the man and of i went. Got on the 98mile long road to the m25 couldnt really give it any welly for a while as to much traffic, but then suddenly it cleared and suddenly i had a e46 M3 up my ass with its lights on so i dropped a gear to 4th and ploughed the accelerator to the floor and so did the M3, as i looked into my mirror the M3 was getting smaller and smaller until he was gone. I slowed down and a fews minutes later the M3 caught up (poor thing) and pulled up beside and gave the thumbs up and said no way could he have caught me and well done, you can imagine i was well happy and wa wa wee wa the coop went well so well and so smooth it put that smile back on my face again which is what i wanted. Every thing from acceleration to smoothness to the top end was transformed it was like anew car. All i can say is thanks to Leighton you are the man when it comes to mapping and thanks for putting that smile back on my face again which i havent had for some time. I havent had it on the rollers but i will at some point, but i dont really care as it feels the best it ever has done since i owned it, so thanks again and when i get the figures i will post them up.

hmm i think it could .. my friend has a mental impreza 55 plate sti spec c type ra nurburgring edition, 1 of only 200 made only 2 in uk tuned by litchfield imports, it takes him till 3rd gear to get past me in a straight line he did pod 12.5 at jap show he was very impressed and shocked im running chip and exhaust nothing else ! he s a proven 380 bhp 343 ftibs torque work that out car, was mapped by powerstation . a lad i know says he had a standard coop off the clock a few years ago freshly bought from an auction paid 1000 for it ! i have had countless fast jap cars all properly set up and to be honest m3s were nothing best ever challange came from a seat leon that passed me at 160 as my bottom end exploded on the sti im loving fwd once you get grip your gone m3s are pants in standard form e36/e46 even the csl gets destroyed by a 350 bhp impreza thats mapped well ... i dont agree wiv racin anymore as had a 2 yr ban for it and have a kid now and grown up lol save it for the strip/track. nice 1 jamie i intend to see leighton as soon as my turbo issue sorted , what mods you got???

If a CSL M3 gets "destroyed" by a 350bhp Subaru then there is something missing from the equation somewhere ??
