Hi everyone. Ive not even bought a Coupe yet but im busily trying to get myself up to scratch on all there is to know before i buy my next new toy (and i soooooo cant wait).

Anyway i see they are constantly called a 'baby Ferrari' or are modified so they look like one but how does that go down with the Coupe community?

Not well. It's not a baby Ferrari and trying to pretend otherwise is so sad.

Personally i dont mind what people do to their coupes, its all down to individual taste.

I have a modified 360-style front bumper because 1, i like it and 2, it offers better cooling for my mods.

Its great to see an untouched coupe but at the same time, good to see what is available out there to make it that bit more individual.

Its your car, do what you want but dont lose sight that its not a Ferrari!

This is how it should have come out of Torino!

Just add sideskirts, LEDS, big rear wing and a prancing horse and join in the fun.
We all have ferrari envy here.
Most change there name to Enzo !!!

Only kidding all welcome here, even the old and infirm like me.....OK maybe without the wing and prancing horse.

Your car is not really your car until you change it just the way you like it. For some people this means putting Ferrari badges on it. I like debadged myself - makes it a bit of a mystery machine.

of course, its your coupe, and your opinion is the only one that should matter to you. but i wouldn't expect much help if you ask some one were to locate Ferrari badges

Some nice looking Coops with the 360 style bumpers etc.

But if someone offers you a prancing horse bonnet badge....

I had a Modena bumper on mine & Momo Ferrari alloys but I kept the Fiat badges (as well as a subtle pininfarina badge from a genuine 456). Nothing wrong with Ferrari-esque but prancing horses etc are not cool. Abarth is wrong too!

The 'baby Ferrari' term has been applied to the Fiat Coupe for mainly two reasons.

Firstly, even in its standard form, it has some Ferrari type design features- noticeably the taillights.

Secondly, performance-wise, with the 20valve/turbo models in particular, things really do get fast. Then of course you can tune it and get even more power out of it.

So, you get a lot of style and power for your money.

But importantly, its not a supercar and the 'baby Ferrari' term is just a nice little compliment.

to be honest, the coupe was always going to have a ferrari inspired design.
let us not forget that all our boyhood ferraris were dreamt up whilst fiat were at the helm.
its obvius that when fiat wanted a sports car for the people that a few ferrari elements would be put into it.
you only have to look at the front or rear light placement to see what i mean.
however, in my honest opinion, putting ferrari badges on a coop is pretty sad, it is never going to be a real ferrari, just a scaled down one shall we say.
why not just be proud to say its a fiat? you are proud to own the car!
but, as has been said above, if you own it, do whatever you want with it!
i am personnally awaiting my new modena style bumper from auto ds, a blatant ferrari add on, but a styling piece that i think comliments the coupe very well.
again tho, not to everyones tastes i'm sure!!

enjoy your FIAT! thumb

i also think such a style mod is perfectly fine, as long as the car looks good. even though the size of the mod is large and it is clearly a ferrari copy, you're not trying to make the coupe into a ferrari are you?

ofcourse, if you were to add a tiny single badge of a prancing horse, then thats just nono

There was a White coupe at brooklands that had a 360 front and rear bumper also a 360 exhaust which drew a crowd.

Just seen that in the Brooklands pics. Love the front and the colour but not sure on that rear bumper.

Ive also noticed there seems to be two different 360 bumpers available. On with a hole below the number plate and one without.
