I am glad you got it back mate.
TBH I don't mind it with or without the badge, however you can't just drill holes and refit a badge as the badge fits in a recess that will have been filled when it was debadged.

Oh definitely; I'm very grateful that I was able to have it repaired without the need to buy any parts, aside from a £10 bonnet Thanks for the replies guys

I've just about touched the 7 month mark with out the coupe, so i know how you feel mate. Over that time a fair few grand has been splashed so i look forward to the fresh new feel of it.
Looks very tidy, and de-badged looks good to me.

I had to wait 3 months to get my replacement coupe. That was bad enough! 7 must be hell! I bet no one else had to drive around in a 1.5 Chavic AUTO during their break though ... -wolfman

Indeed, 7 months was pretty bad, particularly whenever I walked past the car looking all sad and crumpled; luckily Dad let me drive his yellow 20vT now and again, but I think that only made me thirsty for more! Don't get me wrong, I loved driving my MG again regularly, particularly having the roof down 90% of the time (yes, even when slightly raining). But you just miss driving the coop; theres something so captivating about driving it

Im glad you got sorted eventually. It made me sad to read about that tip at the time - reminded me how I had done the same to my beautiful Fiat 128 3p back in the 80's.

after that crash we had i never thought i would see this day, espeically photo 2, seeing the Coupes both back on the road, yours taking much longer than mine of cause... The fact this is my old car really pleases me that it is back on the road, where it should be, and not broken up for parts

It is very hard to take the time and effort to repair, but so gratifying in the end. Seems recently a lot of coupes have had the effort put in to be restored, or fixed. After a few months back the news was soo, on the other end of the spectrum. I will be hopefully posting next week, that my Le will be back on the road.
