Hi peter

No one here has done that but please feel free to come up with a design. I know the 156 challenge had bearing instead of bushes not a uniball but metal metal bearing very similar to the bush. Heres the tipo FIA document you will see the design retains one bush for movment in camber. Note in the second picture how the arm must clear the upper mounting leg on the subframe (the subframe was strapped to the cross member to fit a stubborn bolt)

Any of these could be drilled and tapped to fit the mounting holes on the coupe, you could also set your camber/caster to where you want it.

You would need to run coilovers though, a standard spring just wouldn't have room to move under the arch.

BMS sell a top mount specifically for the GAZ coilover (which sparco & now myself have - I bought Subas laugh )

But I was advised by BMS that they would only fit the GAZ stuff - not even FK/KWs - as the top bearing has a part to play in the design.

As for spherical mounts on other parts of the car. Expensive as no-one had developed any, louder than standard bearings.
