Can anyone help me, a bloke from another country is lookin to buy the limited slip diff out of a 20vt gearbox i have here, can anyone tell me how much slip there is to the limit? i really dont have a clue what he means

The 20vt doesn't have a limited slip diff, what they do have is a viscous coupling built into the drive shaft that helps prevent one wheel spinning up.

I'd make sure he knows exactly what he's asking for.

ah i see so does the viscous have anythin liek the limited slip diff, as in slip to limit>? whats better as well lsd or viscous

No idea on the torque limit but it was still working ok on JohnS monster 2.5ltr coupe.
A visco coupling isn't as snatchy as a LSD but because its a fluid it has its limits and you will get one to spin up if you try hard enough, where as an LSD has plates or gears that physically lock preventing a single wheel spinning.

I think the small moment of slip in the viscodrive makes it better than an LSD for road use
