7.5j would be better than the 7j as it will fill the arch better .

being 7s as std i thought it would be best to stick to that but some people seem to run 7.5s,i don't know if they rub or not,25et seems to be the one but i don't know if that is with 7s or 7.5s or if it makes a difference?

Nope his are lenso or something like that. they will look similer though.

You can work out the required et for different widths on the car bible website.

I used to have Pro-Race 1's on my blue coupe and to be honest they look much nicer as they don't have the tacky "motorsport" logo around the rim.

These were a 17" et25 with a 7" width.

never knew this was your ex coop jimbo , love the wheels on this !

i agree 1's look so much better than the 1.2s ,

although last time i looked they had stopped making the 1's,you can get hold of them but way more expensive than the 1.2's

i run 18 x 8.5j with 215/35/18 tyre and have no rubbing at all so a 7.5j will cause you no problems at all ,

I think they are now making the 1.2's without the writing on the rim, its the ones with the colour band around the rim but I'm sure they could paint the whole wheel if you ordered them like that. Expect a long wait though !!

My car runs these wheels, though it's green. Have a look at the pics on the for sale thread. \:\)

That was a well sorted car Jimbo. Did you do all the mods to it?

I bought it as a standard 20vt with 10K on the clock in 2000. I fitted the zender kit, it did have a chargecooler, miltek exhaust, and a custom downpipe, oh and the wheels and some billys/eibachs.
I don't like the centre caps that are on it now though, I fitted some silver flush fit ones that gave it a cleaner look.
I spent a fortune keeping it in great condition, it should have come with a folder full of bills \:\)

Who owns her now ?

Yeah had the folder which I added to with several motormech bills \:\) , and a bill for a new wheel as one cracked \:\( I know the caps you are on about, there was one missing on the car when I bought it and the previous owner couldn't find the same ones so had sourced some different ones.

I put it up for sale on pistonheads in June and it had sold within a week, the guy had it shipped over to Ireland without even seeing it in the flesh. Easiest car sale I've ever had to do lol. I miss it though, by far the best car I have owned.

I thought about spraying the wheels black but changed my mind in the end.
