Im alarmed to see the value of a 2000 year 20VT plus is only just over £3,000 (Whatcar) wheras there is evidence of cars advertised/sold on here,PH etc for well in excess of £4,000. This must be a worry to owners in the case of a total loss.
So has anyone managed to obtain an agreed value. I'm with Highway through Noel Dazely

They will offer agreed value at renewal.

Only if a value was agreed.

When they simply ask you the cars value that is not an agreed value and often state that this is not the price that they will offer in the event of total loss.

There are a lot of bad cars out there (not just Coupes) if you can prove that yours was in great condition, by supplying the purchase receipt, service history etc then you should hold out for what you think the car was truefully worth.
