I need to replace the Supersprint cat-back exhaust on my car.

While I'm over for a two days (Dec 28/29th) in the U.K, I was get another Supersprint fitted at Motormech,
but they've rang me back to say they are out of stock at AA till January \:\( if I can find something else they'll fit it.

So has anyone fitted a Cybox stainless steel Clicky
or used this company in Walsall ?? Clicky

I'm looking for something similar to the Supersprint noise, and definitely NO louder at motorway speeds.
When I use the car on motorways, it is very long trips, like into Europe ;\)

Mine is a standard car, if I get a couple of more horse's with the exhaust, all the better, but I don't want a barryboys system \:P

Also, I'd like the end of the pipe to be no bigger than the Supersprint and if possible straight ( to the rear of the car) not an angled tip (fussy I know)

Any other companies making them?? Budget is around 230-ish.

Dar, I'd say the Supersprint is one of the quietest around ... anything other than OE is likely to be louder.

Following on with this, I decided to go with the MIJ performance in Walsall, from their ebay ad
for 2 reasons,
I had emailed from an Alfa 156 owner that got a system fitted there via ebay ( he was delighted with it) and it was less than 20 mins from Motormech, basically the North and the opposite side of the M6 from MM and I had a ferry home to catch the same evening! (Dec 29th)

Anyways, after Paul had fitted braided brakes hoses from Suba's group buy on here, new Brembo dust seals, 5.1 brake fluid and sorted a very annoying squeak from my suspension (Thanks Paul ) I headed over to MIJ.

I was very impressed with their workshop/garage which had I think 6 or 7 lifts ( all with cars been worked on from a Range Rover, Jag and an Audi A6 ) and they also do a bit of work on some of these beasties

I met my contact from the ebay ad there, Jay ( top man !) put the car up on a drive on hoist ( no worries about the sills ;\) ) and we discussed what kind of exhaust sound/noise I wanted (not too loud),what style end on the end of the system and a couple of things I wanted, like good ground clearance, strength for the really bumpy roads in the West of Ireland ( I've cracked the pipe into the backbox of the supersprint on 3 separate occasions \:o ) and not to close to the bumper slot ;\)

I went with the sports system ( one up from normal ) A straight tip was going to be difficult, but really I liked the look of a not too big slash cut tip, so I went with that. I told was I could wait or head into Walsall for 2.5 hours and as my sister had came along for the trip, we headed into Walsall.

Jay had tried to ring me that the car was ready, as he likes to show what work he has done before the car is lowered, but he couldn't get thru on my Irish mobile,( and he another car to get done before closing time) but I had a good look under the car before I left and it looked very good to me and sounded good on the M6, and just a little bit louder ;\)

These pictures were taken 3 weeks ago, when I got an early oil change (at 4.5k from the last service) from a trackday I was doing last Saturday week.

And of course...
The sound Bear in mind the exhaust gases knocked the phone over halfway during recording \:P

It sounds a bit louder than the supersprint at certain speeds, but not massively, it can be a little drone-y at 2k revs but either it's quietened down or I gotten deaf now \:P

I thought it was a bit too loud at first myself, but a girl-friend of mine ( who's into cars ;\) ) didn't think it was loud at all from outside the car when I drove off, she reckoned it had a nice throaty burble and definitely didn't sound like a barryboy car

When I used the car at a very wet trackday last saturday week, there was a fantastic echoing resonance at high revs and on down changing there is a lovely burble when I came off the accelerator. A few people told me it sounded good \:# and it sounded \:# \:# from inside too.

I've also ran the car along the same roads I cracked the supersprint on and no problems/contact noise from the roads there , so it's " The seriously bumpy West of Ireland roads proof" and a month on there is no play at the exhaust end, so I have to give this system a big
