Just bare in mind, that it will corrode. Mine is a CSC exhaust, very similar to the supersprint, with the same materials used to manufacture the system. Which I believe is stainless internals, and mild externals, (painted with HT matt black paint). Sounds lovely. Mellow and quiet on idle, and deep on full throttle. However, it's been on the Coupe for 3/4 years and really needs replacing now, as the corrosion has set in on it.

yeah iv heard that, i'll paint it up too, my cars garaged too which should help a bit, 3-4 years isn't very long considering what they cost , will the tailpipe corrode and fall off too, like the standard systems do ?

will the tailpipe corrode nd fall off too, like the standard systems do ? Well, if my CSC system is anything to go by, it's the actual hangers that corrode the most, which *could* cause the exhaust to drop. The tailpipe seems to be fine though.

yeah its the salt on are road. i had a hks exhaust on my skyline and it was £700 so not cheap and its stainless plated but that brake away and rotted the exhaust so stainless all the way. they sound diffrent to belive it or not i find mild more boomy softer noise and stainless more rasp and metallic.

guess it depends on so many variables then, my coupe has the original factory exhaust on, complete with tailpipe, and thats not stainless ! and its only just given up the ghost ( collapsed baffles ) after nearly 10 years, so i think i'll go with the supersprint

Know what you mean. A friend of mine has a peco stainless system on his 20vt - he couldn't believe the difference when he came for a ride in mine. His stainless system is very raspy in comparison - sounds good, just very different.

its down to how you use the car. I bought my SuperSprint secondhand the same week I bought the car. That was five years ago. I had to replace the centre section after the seam weld split (something to do with the HUGE rock I hit) However, the decat and the back box are now well over 120,000 miles old And when you give it LOTS of boost, they sound brilliant
