Time for renewal on my coupe, and Adrian Flux came in with a quote slightly lower then I was paying last year, although last year I did have 3 more points then I do now. However their new quote included this change, so when CIS came in at over half the price - I thought I would change!

Adrian Flux - £890 TPFT (9 points)
CIS - £344 FC (6 points)

Might be worth giving them a try if anyones shopping around for a renewal quote. \:\)

Is your coop modified at all??

I'm on the lookout for some insurance just now so might be worth a try if they dont mind mods.

CIS used to not worry about modifications (although at the time mine were pretty much all cosmetic and on a low powered car).

I see, might get a quote from them.

Admiral wont touch me now that the car has an evil intercooler fitted! The best quote I have so far is almost double what they wanted initially. \:\(

Im 26 living in the South West with 6 points and 1 years NCB although, due to admin errors the premium with CIS does not include this, so it would have been even cheaper but thats Adrian Flux's fault... (long story).

Try Bell as they're a sister company to Admiral and do accept mods. Mine has only got a strut-brace and my renewal is £280 fully comp, but then I am on the wrong side of 40 °\(

Maybe the wrong side of 40, but at least you only have to pay £280 for car insurance.... So look on the plus side. \:\)

How on earth did you manage to get a quote of £344 with 6 points on your license and 1 year's NCB??

I just did a quote with CIS. I'm also 26, 1 year NCB, no points = £1076!!

I think they are better if you phone them up rather then do it online, found this with a lot of places they can better the online quote if you speak to someone working there.

Maybe I just had a lucky day when I got my insurance. \:\)
