front anti rollbar #633243

i have some problem to change the "rubber :-) " on the front rollbar. it is those bracket securing, i cant get them from each other, so i can fit new rubber.


Any good idea, or just a bigger hammer.

The nuts have a lip on them which passes through the other side of the bracket (if that makes sense?). You could try and bend it back a bit or I suppose just drill it out and then use a normal nut to bolt it back on.

yeah i understand what you mean, i think i would drill them , they get a last try, with my huuge hammer..

You won't need to hammer anything if you drill them out with the right size drill piece, they will near on fall apart once done.

yep me and my hammer gave up.. (something that not happen very often), so now i i have to use thr drill

Out of interest are we talking about the part that holds the ARB to the subframe? If so would those bushes being worn cause a knocking noise? I changed the drop links yesterday and it has improved things a lot but there is still a minor knock \:\(
