Bought from Solo Italia in Sept 06 (sadly no history prior)...However!: I have more receipts than i can shake a large stick at for this car, ranging from every oil filter ive bought to the bigger work thats been carried out.
...I thought keeping my V-Power receipts may be a bit excessive

A few minor problems though...

Oil pressure sender needs changing
Faint alternator light at night (though kicks out correct current/voltage, trust me im a leccy )

Ive basically cut no corners maintaining this car and its only ever been looked after by me and mates who are engineers and well respected coop garages.

Its true, i do love it to bits, i dont know whether its unfortunate or not but im now in the lucky postion i can have pretty much whichever car id like , but it means parting with the coop

for £1500 its not worth selling it. just keep it as a weekend funmobile.

The problem there is ill be getting a supra and whilst it'd be fun to have two weekend funmobiles i couldnt afford/justify it.

They are going for nothing on ebay, if they go at all.

If you have the time and patience (and space) breaking it would be a better option, so long as all the usual bits people want first (bonnet etc) are in good shape.

I'll never sell mine for the same reason, I won't get anything like what I've paid out for it back, including the initial price of the car. All I can say is that they are getting closer to classic status, and when they do hit classic status and therefore classic insurance rates, the 16VT will be the first there.

If it is a really good example, mothball it and use it as a show car?

I'm with Vickster, Supra!!?? Why??? Each to there own I guess, but have you seen the interior on those things????? A sea of cheap plastic with all the design and flair of a Mitsubishi Carisma!
