Hi All,

I have had the LE for some years now and recently have got a set of PLUS rims. After speaking to EDZ at the ACE Cafe on SAT. He mentioned that the tyre wall size should reduce to reflect the width increase (which makes sense). I've read through the FAQ's and cant find the size for the plus wheels anywhere.

LE rims = 205/50/R16 (With highest speed rating)
PLUS rims = 225/45/R16 (same as above)

Has anyone got standard plus rims on with original tyre size. ??? ar at least can confirm that edz is right and I am a muppet for ordering 225/50 size tyres.

Any Help is VERY MUCH Appreciated as I then have to re-order the tyres in the correct size. (arrgh)

I dont suppose you can remember the tyre company and the type that was on the rimms ????

I am having major issues to find tyres that will fit with high speed rating.

Pirelli - Dont to the p zero neros in the size needed.
I am still searching for other brands. but not having much luck.

It was a couple of years ago now, I bought Falken FK-452
225/45 ZR16 89Y ( rated to 186mph ) which I got on well with ( i remember cos I recently recommended them to a friend ! ) bought these from mytyres.co.uk at around £70 each

rim width on the Plus wheels is the same as the LE wheels (which are the same as standard 20vt wheels)

You can fit 205/50 or 225 45 to any 20vt wheel

Toyo T1S are probably the most common high-performance tyre at the moment (good price too). Goodyear Eagle F1 close behind

My Plus is wearing Toyo Proxes T1R's- 225/45/ZR16.
