I was at Powerstation this week and Rich has told me he has 3-4 ex stock Miltek systems that he would like to move on. These were custom made for the 20vt a couple of years back (I think Hanny organised this direct with Miltek) and are well known for their quality.

2.5" Stainless Steel Cat-back system

Normal Price - £363 inc vat

Offer Price - £258.50 inc vat

100 cell Racing Cat

Normal Price - £440 inc vat

Offer Price - £311 inc vat

This isn't a group buy and I'm not selling them either so simply phone up Rich at Powerstation on 01684 296675 and grab yourself a bargain. You can take away or they will fit it there for an extra £45

Don't see why not as it is cat back although obviously would be best to check with someone first.

I can vouch for the improvement that the race cat will give you over the standard one (whilst staying legal ). £311 may seem a lot of money, but this is a good price for an excellent product !

I'm right in thinking that a Cat-Back exhaust means 'including the cat' not 'from the tail back to the already present cat' right?

if so then wouldnt there be some kind of discount if u bought the exhaust AND the sports cat as u obviosuly wouldnt need both of them?

No it's from the cat to the tail.

You should be able to fit just the cat-back part to the original cat. The first versions didn't allow this, as they had a slightly larger diameter than the standard system, but it was quickly fixed.

You don't need the race cat to fit the cat back system.

I would think that you will get a slight improvement with the cat-back, as it will remove the centre box from the standard system. Chances are that it will also give you a bassier tone to the exhaust. The race cat or decat will certainly free up a few more horses though, and add an even lower grumble to the exhaust note .

Craig I have one on mine - It was the first batch of milteks but is very similar to my brothers one (He has the new style).
I have a race-cat on at present and have just bought an unsilenced decat pipe (also have silenced decat) So will be able to give you a good idea of it - Just need to clean it when I get a chance!!

Maybe see you over the weekend.

Incidentally, drove past your car on Saturday in Kintore , was looking at houses....don't worry not buying your next door neighbours though!

Yup I was behind the current design of Milltek exhaust and the race cat.

Both systems offer better exhaust flow and the race cat allows 85% more flow than a standard cat.

Material used is excellent 309 stainless steel and a few other exhaust manufacturers/fitters always commented on my Milltek - even though it was the prototype it was still in excellent condition - even so that Panic now has it fitted to his Coupe.

Here are some photos of the prototype:

I called them yesterday but they are determined not to split them. It's a bit annoying because I bought the Race Cat off them originally at the higher price and now need the matching exhaust .

So I bought a Miltek cat-back system off another company I Googled for £339.30 inc VAT and next-day delivery.

Here is the link to their website/Coupe Miltek exhaust: Miltek for Coupe

I was told this morning that they have 4 in stock.

They are offering a 10% on all Miltek exhaust until the end of April 06. At the checkout stage use the discount code GOOGLEAD0406, you then get the discount when they take the money.

Do you guys know if the downpipe is included in the system, i.e. from the turbo to the race cat?

Thanks

Botheration! - I think a quick pitstop in the H&S downpipe group buy is needed!

Was there today - only one system left now! Superb quality and fits the coupe like a glove. I was immediately impressed with how much more the engine can breathe, much better turbo spoolup. Now just waiting for the H&S downpipe........
