CallumMGF Unregistered C	Hey guys, well as you may have read in another thread, I am now the proud owner of DanDan's yellow 16vT, so thought I'd better say hi! Must say, when driving it back from Boston to Norwich, I was shocked at the sheer power of the thing; but then, I am used to a little MGF! (no im not a hairdresser....) Just out of curiousity, it is normal for the temp. gauge to rise and fall slightly in and out of traffic? Look forward to coming to the next Anglian meet $\:\)$

coupe_jay Unregistered C	Hullo and welcome, good to see the 16vt's still going strong. Temp guage thing sounds fairly normal just keep an eye on the coolant levels for the next couple of weeks. Oh and of course CHECK YOUR OIL! $;\)$

Yes - I remember the time my temp gauge started climbing in queuing traffic on the motorway. It didn't stop climbing until eventually smoke started billowing from underneath the bonnet!! 2 fire engines came out to me tho so that was nice . . . . hmmmmm firemen! $\:D$

CallumMGF Unregistered C	Aye have been checking the coolant levels regularly....remember, I have a K-series in my MG $;\)$ so force of habit! Ahh thats oki then, was getting worried something mightve been wrong with the thermostat, although its been replaced...perhaps its me being a bit paranoid.
