Yep, Ill post some more. I was fooling around & being modest! I absolutely love them... \:# \:# \:#

They do change the look of the whole car from a little understated to a little overstated. That wasnt my intention but they are really growing on me & I keep peeping out the window to steal a glimpse! Sad lot ay! \:D

Look great Chris \:D

Those tyres look mighty close to the inner arch, any rubbing ?

No rubbing at all....as yet. Didnt even need to roll the arches either?? Ive tested them quite enthusiastically too. They are slightly different to the German car I based them on I think. They do look good though. The place I had them done at were really chuffed with the look & watched me drive of with both pride (in there work as they chose spacer/adapters with many crossed fingers!) & maybe a touch of envy too. \:D

Do you use spacers or a new hub?

i think they look good, but from a styling point of view and to have the effect that they had on in the pic of the blue coupe that was floating about the forum the car def. needs lowered more \:\(

Yeah, I know.....coilovers needed but Im not sure if thats just too big a loss of drive comfort ie a VERY hard ride Id have thought.

i dont know... i a GOOD set of coilovers can return good ride quality.. KW's for example, FK's havent got the spring rates rite and are therefore very bouncy @ the front end anyways..

Chris what springs and dampers are you using at the moment, I think the height looks nice as it is, the picture of the blue coupe was probably done like that for the picture then wound back up again, I doubt it would be drivable as it was ?

I've got some spare coilovers if you want to try them, I just need to pull my finger out and get my top mounts sorted then I can send you them if needed ?

Cheers Jimbo, Im on Bilsteins & Eibachs with the standard 35mm drop (I think it is anyway). I like the rear look but Id prob drop the front an inch all things beiong equal. How much would you want as my money drying up now. (got the 2.5 to sort yet still!)

Chrisbp, whats the ride like with Bilsteins & Eibachs? Need to replace my standard set up this year.

Well after the standard setup I had it feels fantastic. There is a loss of comfort as mine is dropped 35mm but the gain in stability (esp at speed), handling & therefore confidence while driving more than makes up for it. I would highly recommend them.

Chris

Pure car porn. Love it.

So sometimes wish I could come to sacrifice the peformance of my wheels for some porker ones, or Azevs.

I have been looking at doing this and posted a few times in the porsche alloys thread that was going on, i was wondering if the 17" ones would fit, once the 5 stud porsche hub adaptor/spacers were fitted, these ones

http://www.performancealloys.com/details...ssion=189457418

I dont know if i have chosen the right porsche from the drop down box as the hub adaptor doesnt explain which porsche you have to choose from, so i went with the 1995 968 sport (someone please give me some help if i have chosen the wrong one)

So does anyone know or think they would fit, with the right thickness hub adaptor??
