Hi - Although I have hardly posted on this froum I have looked at it regularly during my two a half years of coupe ownership. I have found it to be full of great advice and full of people experiencing the same coupe misfortunes as I have. I currently have a 1998 20v with 58,600 on the clock, but am thinking of changing up to a 20vt which a local garage has in stock. This is at http://www.redmotori.co.uk registration no. R246JJO, does anyone have knowledge of this car? Cheers, Dave

I've not seen the car, but know it's been in their stock for quite a while.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I know they've had it awhile now. Maybe Coupes just aren't that popular down in Dorset.

It looks quite a nice car but I don't really see what you'd be gaining apart from a turbo. If you've had your own NA for over 2 years you must be quite happy with it.

The 20vt for sale is quite cheap but they will probably offer next to nothing for yours, which has less mileage and having owned it a couple of years you'll you know the history of etc.

Unless you really want a murple one I wouldn't bother \:\)

Then again I have 20vt \:P

Thanks for the reply. All your comments are things I have thought of and still not reached any decisions. Fancied a change of vehicle after two years, but struggling to find something that has the styling and individuality of the coupe. As a result thought I might upgrade to a 20vt and I do like that murple colour.

What are your reasons for wanting to change up? Is it for performance reasons, or you want things like leather/air-con/sunroof (if your n/a doesn't have these)?

Increased Performance and leather seats would be nice. Would of course be cheaper to get a pair of leather trousers, but perhaps not so stylish.

I think it looks a nice , original car in one of the best colours and from a specialist dealer which is good. I'd go for it. Life is short and it's later than you think.
