just tested a set of 500cc Denso injectors (converted for 'grale use) and turns out that:

there is a discrepancy (sp?) of up to 7% from the highest flowing one to the lowest which I believe is unacceptable so I'm sending the injectors back. (belonged to a mate so I hadn't paid for them yet...)

Now, should I be looking for a pin (single hole spray) or disk (2 or 4 hole spray) ones? Looks like I'd better go for the multispraying ones as they can do a better job at "breaking" the petrol into minute droplets, right?

If so, any suggestions for 500cc ones that are reasonably cheap, good quality and right specs for our engines???
Fwiw, I'm using an integrale inlet manifold now, so anything that physically fits a 'grale should be ok (if it makes any difference which I doubt)

Choose an injector with the same spray pattern as the standard injecotrs or use your common sence. No point having a very wide spray in a narrow port. single or dual pintles are for the port/manifold design AFAIK not spray pattern.

Mitsubishi makes 440/510/550 cc injectors for the 4G63T. RX7 13B come 450/550/850. They have the usual Japanese style seals like denso. They can be converted to Bosch/Fiat style.
