Hello,

After previously owning a 20v and an LE but having to sell a couple of years back due to buying a house, I think I am going to have to return to the Coupe....

I am a bit worried about big bills though, but after reading the buyers checklist I think I need to mainly look out for:

[*]Turbo seals
[*]Manifold
[*]Wishbones & track rod arms
[*]Cambelt service

Does that sound right, or have I missed something else major out?

Looking forward to getting another one - just need to sell my Ford SportKa first, so if anyone wants one.... ;\)

Mark.

if you're worried by big bills, maybe the coop isn't for you!

Probably the easiest way of buying a straight and honest car is to have a look at what carlt is selling, that way you won't need to worry! Not that far from you either. \:\)

Welcome back btw ;\)

Good thread!.

It would be useful, for a newbie like me, to know approximate costs for all the things on this list, and how to look out for them.

http://www.powerfiat.co.uk Has a long list of costs in the services section \:\) I think Motormech's prices are pretty in line with PF's , other specialists cost a bit more \:\)
