I would never have creditied it, but Swintons have just got my business. They gave great service and were cheaper than all of the regulars:

Had to include limited business use this year as well. Policies all much the same, no significant catches or differences. All mods always declared, running 20% up on power over std.

From talking to the agent (Roger), it seems that Swintons have set up a "Swintons Specialists" operation to capture a slice of the modified car action from Flux and Greenlight. Only been going for 6 months and obviously hungry for business. Suggest adding to any short list.

Has nobody else tried these guys and beaten the usual favourites

20 years ago when they opened a local branch quite a few of us from work went over to them. They must have been cheaper for the first guy and word of mouth did the rest.

After a while it became apparent that they'd contacted everyone once the policy was up and running claiming to have made a mistake and asking for an increaase Most of us never went back to them

don't think you could get away wih that nowadays and I suspect it was policy introduced by a rougue branch manager
