Strange this one, a few weeks ago i rang my insurance company the Privlege to change my address and ask them about my renewal qoute.
Id already told them about the 4 points i got last year and the said it wont effect me till renewal so i was bricking it! They told me my renewal wont be automatically generated because of the points so they manually had to do it and send me the quote out in a few days.
The dreaded day came when i got the letter off them... opened it to find my insurance had actually gone down by over a £100 pounds or so and they didnt want a deposit and my monthly payments had gone down by a tenner, this i assume is with the speeding points on!

Great i thought i will try to shop around and see if i can get it cheaper so on with confused.com but now i am confused because there cheapest qoute was £1044 with my 7 years no claims but 4 points

So im now thinking have the privlege got it wrong??? I dont want to find my self not insured if something happens but at the same time i dont want to rock the boat with them but there deal seems too good to be true!

Should i keep shtum or ring them to comfirm they have counted the points?

You need to check the schedule of insurance and certificate - If the points aren't there, then you need to tell them IMO \:\)

If the new quote does include the points then there is no harm in phoning them to check. Some insurers dont care about things like speeding convications any more because almost everyone strays over the limit sometimes...
