I have a CD headunit which is said to have CD changer controls, so I assume changer compatible This one to be precise There appear to be 2 or 3 Sony changers available this one looks promising but I cannot find anywhere whether these are compatible with my head-unit...any ideas if all Sony products are interchangeable?

That's a pretty good price. Do you have an IPOD?

A Sony MP3...I realise I can hook it up but there's no where to put it in the coupe and I find the sound isn't that great - really quiet for some reason I think Matty fits the stuff for a living...makes him an expert in my eyes

Yup it's my living I'm afraid. Vicks it's up to you. If you had an IPOD, I haven't , I'd suggest getting that interface but you're a but limited with the MP3 player. Sound quality/level is variable, so one track can be just right but the next too quiet or loud. For the T-69 changer, £130 fitted that's a great price.

Don't worry about it cowboy Without taking the ashtray out (which I did and then cussed and swore because I couldn't get it back in ) , there's nowhere really to put the MP3 player Where is the best place to mount a CD changer in the coop boot without it jumping and also not taking up too much space?

Have you done the hack to increase the volume level Vicks? There's some EU reg about volume levels which means that all UK Sony MP3 players are limited when sold, but you can change it quite easily by going into the maintenance menu. I did mine when I first got it so I can't remember the details but you should find it on Google OK. I agree that some tracks play louder than others, which is a pain, but if you buy the adaptor (Bockers will tell you where to get that - I have a memory like a sieve!) you get full control of the unit via the HU, and tag display on the HU too. 6 CD changer or 300 CD MP3 player...???

No hack done but it was bought in the US not UK so...It's loud through earphones, just not when attached to the HU with a cable I can turn both the player and the stereo up but I always forget to turn the latter down and get the fright of my life when I just put a CD on or the radio None of this helps with the issue of where to put the bl*ody thing however so I'll probably go with the changer option

Me. But you'd have to pay a lot for my fuel. Will they only fit parts they've supplied?

Can she not get the code from Sony? I think a 12 disc might be a bit chunky?
