Not my normal sort of thing, but my new toy turned up with DVD screens in the rear, major JL Audio subwoofer install with 600w JBL amp, and er....that's about it

What I want is:

Touch screen sat nav
DVD - don't care if it plays on the screen in the front, or just the ones in the back (and the passenger sun visor one if possible)
CD autochanger
Wireless headphones in the back, already got the infra red transmitter in the vehicle
Bluetooth hooked up would be nice too

Now it gets a little trickier - don't want to have to stop listening to CD or watching the DVD because I'm using the nav, and vice-versa. And want to be able to play CDs/listen to radio while littl'un is watching DVD in the back

I know sod-all about this kind of thing, assumed there would be some kind of mag like "what car install" I could become an instant expert with

I've got 1.5 DIN space in dash, so could use single DIN there or 1.5 DIN unit? I've got a standard fit autochanger in the dash too which will have to come out as won't hook up to anything, its smaller than DIN (3/4 DIN?) so maybe could put a DVD player in there?

Only one place local to me that I know but wants to sell me all singing, all dancing Alpine system at wrong side of £2k and three month wait

So looking for:
is there a mag available to make me an instant expert?
anywhere I should visit within decent range of South Bucks who is expert - better still if they are expert on US imports
anyone got something similar and can make recommedations?

hey nyssa, no there is no mag for hands on etc,although not a difficult install,there are many places in your area to help i would have thought, toad have mobile installers and not to badley priced,[i used to be one lol] but what you want is an installer in your area who does guvvy jobs all people in the trade do, worth doing a bit of home work and asking around. good luck.
