Whatever happened to?


As the title suggests “What ever Happened to” All those people that used to be on here?

I was looking back over some of Dave’s OLD videos and saw some faces from the past that I have not seen about these parts for a while. This got me to thinking about all those former regular forum contributors that appear to have vanished.

Panik (with a K) & Hanny are two Forum names that I do remember but there were many others.

The guy with the gorgeous Porto Blue with dark wheels (Phil I think?)

The young fellow called Steven whom always appeared to write controversial posts; apparently he was a jolly nice chap when people met up with him

The Guy from Kent with a sprint Blue Coupe, worked for a phone company (Mika??)

Whilst I know the loss of the old Forum did cull Forum members (it took months for many to drift back and some never did) where are they now ?

So whom do you remember / miss from the FORUM old days?

Pretty sure all those guys bar Hanny are still about.

PhilD nows drives a very powerful evo and accord type-R, pops in now and again. he sold his coop and the new buyer crashed it and wrote it off within months

SA20V or now known as Stephen, he stills posts under Stephen, made me laugh when I met him, he said "Ahh so you're JimO" I was thinking the same about him

Micah, he still posts now and again, he sold his coop and is loved up with his gf.

He did make a random, one-off, special guest appearance but then disappeared again.

Saw Hanny NOT that long ago, was driving an A6 saloon which he was having de-dented. Hanny had been poorly and they had a second child ... I think he may still lurk ananymously, so be careful!

I doubt anyone noticed, but since the new forum (ok not so new now) work and loads of other things stop me getting on the forum as much as I did!

My post count over the last 12 months is still struggling to break the 3 figures

Still browse (and post) when I can, still love my coupe and at least get to the club events when possible.

Guess the same goes for others..

Yes that is right, he had a yellow 16vt. Seem to remember he had the worst run of luck ever, even bought a Skoda and that kept breaking down too. His life was a tail of woe

A really sound bloke that was doing some interesting mods with his charge cooling.

BigT and RobLE are another 2 I remember. Also Medicineman, he sold up and bought an M3 then sold that and bought an A3 I believe, must like 3's

He had a green/black 20vt, came to a Bluewater meet and was deffo about 6'9

I remember meeting him at the Scottish Italian Car Day in 2005. He made me feel better about being the only 16v NA coop there by telling me I should be proud of the racing heritage that the engine has and should by no means feel that its any lesser a coop than the others that were there. So he`s a top bloke in my eyes .
