I have just fitted my blitz boost controller SBC iD3, and have spliced the boost pipe into an exisiting pipe for the boost gauge mounted in the A-pillar.
I used to get 1.1 bar on the gauge but now get 0.6 - 0.8 whilst the blitz is reading 1.1. Which gauge do I believe?? Do I keep adjusting the blitz until my 1.1 reading comes back on the gauge or is the piping route mucking things up??

Cheers
Si

I've got a disagreement between my apexi and my boost guage too. I'd go with the blitz, which is more likely to be accurate than the guage.

Cheers Matt,
Did you use the same pipe for the apexi and gauge?

Yes, both t'd off the pipe for the fuel pressure regulator.

Must change that soon and see if it makes any sort of a difference.

My blitz is first then about 1.5mtr's until the gauge just thinking maybe separate pipes might work better!!

Yes. Strange because my boost guage actually reads higher than the apexi

Think maybe my guage just isn't very accurate, it's only about 0.1 bar out.

My blitz and my analogue boost gauge agree almost perfectly.

There is a single pipe taken off the fuel regstays as a single pipe as far as the bulkhead, then splits into two to come across the inside of the dash.

Nigel thats exactly how/where my pipes are split. The blitz read 1.2bar & gauge 1bar!! - Want to set to 1.1 so not sure which to believe.

I have another gauge to try so will see if thats any better. BTW what make of gauge do you have??
The one in mine at present is an autometer - other one to try is the equiss.

Cheers

From what I have read and so far tried I thought it may be handy to produce a table to see what people have the blitz unit set to.

Table of settings:

SET / GAIN / BAR
20 / 14 / 1
40 / 18 / 1.1
50 / 18 / 1.2
52 / 14 / 1.25
62 / 10 / 1.3

Feel free to add / comment!!!
