Has anybody modified the handbrake so it sits flat when its in the off position? I think it would look much better like that - what do people think?

Nope it`s when your left to use the handbrake to slow you down when you burst a brake pipe/hose,you`ll need every second you can get. Although most cars are split systems and you still get a bit of braking,I would still like to be able to grab it quickly for extra assistance \:o .

Pray you never have to entrust your life to the Coupé`s super efficient handbrake \:\/ as it`s not a nice experience,in any car for that matter.

There would be enough room next to the handbrake to get your hand around it easily. It could defintly flusher with the ceter console without hindering access.

Besides isn't it just decrotive on the coupe anyway ;\)

Seriously though, I think engine braking is far more effictive than my handbrake has ever been at slowing the coupe down....
