around with my stereo.

I've got a Kenwood head unit and ages ago bought a mini disc changer which is really a slave headunit rather than to go in the boot.

Anyway, ended up sticking it in the boot but was a male to male connection with the changer lead. Some soldering later and the connections were made. \:D

But..... now I keep losing power to my headunit. \:\? It comes on after a few minutes driving, but the radio stations are no longer stored. I thought I might try changing it from permanent to ign switched live. I believe this involves just changing one of the pins over in the ISO connector thingy. Anyone know which one or do I have to go and somehow manage to find the manual for it?

There isn't a power on/off for the minidisc changer, so dont know what is going on there.

Minidisc is fed by the head unit.

As for that you have got the 12v constant and switched 12v round the wrong way ;\)

What, to the minidisc?

But I split down all the wires individually and matched the pin positions. \:\? \:\?

Guess I'll have to have another look at it when I can be bothered. Dont know which pin is which in terms of the 13 pin changer cable do you?

Right, the ISO plug of the Kenwood will have, amongst other cables, a yellow and a red. Red needs switched ignition, yellow needs permanent 12v.
