Driving along the A43 yesterday at my leisure. Outside lane just about to overtake a lorry when he pulls out to overtake another.

I hold back behind him and wait to pass. In a split second i see his back wheels go over something in the road which flings up towards me - no chance to swerve so i just hold on tight.

And this is the damage.

I think it was a coke/beer can that had been flattened but it must have been bigger considering the damage.

So I guess I need a new bumper.... Bugger. I don't know if it can be fixed, but it needs a respray anyway. It'll have to wait till the new year now though as i haven't got the cash. Just glad it didn't hit my intercooler/radiator/windscreen etc..

The amount of people who have changed their orginal bumpers for another version, must have the original ones kicking about.

Maybe it a sign to have another kind of spoiler fitted
