Okay so I stole this from the SXOC forum.. but i'm wondering if there are enough of us that would be interested in going for a pint then a curry one night at a venue in the London Area. (Possibly brick lane as it's close to Liverpool St and the home of east london curries.)

So if you fancy a bit of balti magic, post below.

I'd be interested, living in the docklands and always down brick lane anyway!

Are some of you planning on driving there??

If that's the case i'll see if i can rethink a curry location (still in London) but a little more car friendly.

I'll be training it, no point in going for a curry if copious amounts of Cobra are not being downed as well (or is that just me )

alessandro - clapham is great for me but i fear it's not the easiest place for everyone to get to.

So I suggest that the venue should still brick lane, minutes from Liverpool street and i've just remembered a diamond place to park!

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Calvert+Avenue,+Hackney,+Greater+London,+E2&ie=UTF8&z=15&ll=51.526234,-0.076261&spn=0.020132,0.058579&om=1

Calvert avenue is free to park on after 6:30pm IIRC.

When would be a good day/date for everyone? I'm pretty flexible on this.

Possible table for 12 here!

Is everyone okay with Wednesday the 8th? Or is a Friday/Weekend better for most?

Ladies allowed too..

I'll keep the 'date debate' open to see how many can/can't make the 8th then make a call.

At the top of brick lane there is a fantastic 24hr bagel shop which does the best salt beef and mustard bagels. A winner if you haven't had enough curry to soak up all the beer!
