As i didnt have much to do this afternoon i thought i would take my airbox to bits, and contemplate adding a couple of strategically placed drill-holes! So off i went only to find this........ Airbox1 Airbox2 Needless to say, someone had got there before me! But i cant believe how crap a job has been done, and why drill the holes on the bottom and not the side?! It must surely have been done as some kind of joke/dare! I have covered up half the holes and gonna see if i can feel any difference later on.........

Someone obviously didn't let the drill do all the work and just forced those holes through!

Well i have just got back from a good drive with my repaired airbox and........ i reckon the car pulls a lot better on boost! And there is a definite reduction in noise!
Then again it is probably my overactive imagination, but i'm happy!

and the filter is at the very top too, so that won't of caused any debris problem, but can't see that any more/ a lot more air would have got in that way
