Just got my quote from Elephant. I am 22 and have 2 years NCB. The guy on the phone couldnt find an LE but said a 20vt would suffice. What do you think on this? He had a PLUS on his system but no LE. Does this mean an LE is the same to insure as a 20vt? Anyway the premium was £1098. I dont think this is too bad. Ur thoughts.

Not bad when i was 22 i paid £980 for a 20vt, but i had 4 years ncb.
Try some of the companies under the insurance section.

The LE is called the "1998 6 speed" on elephants system not a plus.

The quote seem fair. Is it fully comp?

So long as you have 4 or 5 years NCD (not earned by a Rapid Bonus scheme) you can have Protected NCD.

I'd back Neil up on that claim - Elephant were a country mile from competitive for me - esp if you dare to make even minor modifications....
