I drove Phils 16v that day, definatly easier to live with everyday, nice smooth progressive power. The GTVs are super nice inside, like sitting in a cockpit.

Hard to disagree with any of the above, I really liked my GTV V6, it felt better inside, slightly 'classier' and better put together, handedly better too, the spoiler really pushed it down at speed (I'm told...) It wasn't so good with flooding as the bow wave from a 4x4 finished it off whereas the coop floats admirally through.The coupe was more practical, indeed the GTV was the only car I've had (except maybe the Bond bug) that makes the coop seem sensible. Boot, rear seats,visibility and much better MPG. I haven't had a 20vt, but did have the 16vt which as everyone knows is a far superior model!
