I suspect more is discussed via pm and in the members area than on the public forum. Some people get bent out of shape over something trivial and stay off a while. As the french say "tant pis"

It's true there has been less activity recently especially post-Turin; I'd agree that holidays may be a factor, also perhaps a cooling-off after the event! Nothing in the Members's section though but there's a little post-Turin stuff including a little footage in the Non-UK Events forum. I've been trying to slim down a clutch of my own footage combined with my son and daughter's - the whole lot put into iMovie made a file of 66GB Admittedly it includes the approach and ascent of the Gt St Bernard Pass It's now trimmed to 33GB, still not slim enough to be usable, but if I take everything out bar the car-event-stuff hopefully I'll post up a link before too long

I do have pressure resulting from Turin…. Somebody made a remark about part of the engine bay being black while it should be red… now the garage is full of removed parts to make paint of the chassis under the engine bay possible.

Just as well I didn't go, I have enough pressure just keeping it going let alone original. Oddly enough 'since' Turin there has been a spate of new people registering for the forum... I'd noticed that but what's happened to the old ones? Still stuck at border control or did the italians 'make them an offer they can't refuse' As far as I know folk have returned with all intact There were one or two mishaps on the way, at the event, and post-event; it's maybe up to those concerned to own them! One involved an astonishing overnight change of gearbox, another a slave cylinder failure in the main piazza 'showcase' on the Sunday morning, sorted by the locals by the end of the day, and another whose 16v became uncomfortable on the way back over the Gt St Bernard Pass - from what I gather it made it home - I think... Ben and I (and others) were stopped and papers checked when crossing the Swiss-German border...we then only made our ferry at Amsterdam by 10 mins

In the post Turin euphoria I did promote the forum/club on the Facebook page, so perhaps that contributed.
