I have recently bought a gtec 2 chip and plan on getting it installed for a little bit of extra power for cheap, as I do not have the required funds to get a proper custom map for the car.
I have the following mods:
K&N box air filter
FMIC
Full 3 inch custom exhaust (with a cat, mid and back box)
Larger aluminium radiator
new NGK spark plugs

Currently running 10w60 oil with around 2.2-2.4 bar at warm and 1-1.5 when really giving it the beans.
I have also recently installed a set of clocks: AFR, boost gauge and battery voltage (although that's irrelevant) just to make sure it's all running well.
On top of that, I also have a Greddy electronic boost controller.

Should I be fine with installing the gtec 2 chip and just keeping an eye out on the afr and the boost gauge?
Or should I go do a fueling check as well?

It will be fine, just keep boost at 1.3 bar maximum
