I've seen houses which have it all over not just bathroom, around the 60s if I'm not mistaken. Look up electric radient celing heating

Thanks for correcting my spelling of it, Jim - I’ve never actually looked it up. It’s interesting that it is actually straw http://isobioproject.com/partners/stramit-international-strawboard-ltd/The asbestos surveyor (1960s built house as far as I can tell - found a bit of newspaper from late 60s tucked in behind an old pipe) was surprised to see the Stramit not least because the house has two roofs. Given this house has only been up 60 years or so, there’s been so much change - possibly because it was a horrible house built in a fab location,

So I wonder what attracted you to it when you decide to buy/rent it? Location, location, location. The image doesn’t do the view justice - “I can see for miles and miles”, I’m 4 minutes from work, 10 mins from M4 and 15 mins from London to Bristol mainline.
