Sills and wheels arches look pretty good, that picture may just be "Fiat alley" in a general breakers. I used to spend many a happy hour many years ago rummaging around scrap yards to help keep my Fiat 850s going...

That is from the last scrappage scheme I would imagine. All will be long gone.

I know the story behind that red Coop.
Believe it or not, it's actually an LE. What happened was, when the guy bought it, the sideskirts, lips and wing mirrors were badly damaged. Luckily, he had owned a 16V many years before and he had kept hold of the sills, front bumper and wing mirrors off that.
He decided to put the 16V sills, front bumper and wing mirrors on this LE, but only temporarily.
However, tragedy struck one day at the traffic lights. A guy in a Citreon Picasso pulled up besides him and asked him what Coop model it was. He told him that it was an LE. The Citreon driver started scolding him for lying, saying that the LE model had sideskirts, lips and titanium grey wing mirrors. The Coop owner told him to come and look at his engine start button and give it a push. The Citreon driver, who had limited (pardon the pun) knowledge about Coop models, thought this was some sexual reference, got worried and hastily drove off.
After that incident, the Coop owner lost all interest in putting LE bits back onto the Coop.

Taking crap from a Citreon driver is a bit much, I assume it was a Grand Picasso so delusions of grandeur or just plain french arrogance. I was once at the traffic lights and a Citroën BX pulled up next to me and the driver looked over imperiously. I wound my window down expecting some admiration for the Coupe, but then the BX rose up on its hydraulic suspension just so he could look down his nose at me. I had the last laugh as I threw in a bunch of onions which kept him distracted long enough for me to chuck a cup of salt water over the BX, which instantly turned to a brown crusty heap before the lights changed to green. How I chuckled. Unfortunately, my satisfaction didn't last long, as 300m down the road, while I was at 7,000 rpm in 1st, I knocked the cup over and the last drop of salt water soaked into the Coupe's carpet. Showing French solidarity (though rarely are they solid) with the Citroën the eiffel towers instantly vapourised in a brown haze, causing the bumpers to fall off, closely followed by the radiator mount and slam panel. The boot floor turned colander, the sills became sieves and the petrol tank straps into cheese graters. Clearly, the Coupe was turning into a French kitchen. The final straw was when the brake calipers turned into garlic presses just before the BX driver caught up on foot and chucked the bunch of onions and a stripey T shirt through my window, although he could have chosen any rusty orifice as the Coupe looked like a target on a tank range. I'm my opinion, this is exactly the fate that befell that red Coupe in the scrappy.

Curiously there is a red coop that turned into a kitchen, once featured on here. It's true but the paintwork was chipped and the engine roasted.

This is one of those times that I shouldn't believe everything I read on the internet, isn't it? Well, as Albert Einstein once said, "58.2% of stories on the Internet are made up."
