If they have been stood for more than three or four years, the chance of them being salvageable is pretty slim without a very deep wallet
The issue here is three-fold
1) Even at £50 for the pair, by the time they have been transported to the new owner's premises, they will have cost £500+
2) The cost of rescuing them is likely to be considerable, or more likely, prohibitive.
3) The demand for spares if they were dismantled is likely to be extremely low (just 90 16v Coupes left now, including SORN'd)
I agree, its a travesty, but there's a strong chance that these two cars will be towed away and scrapped

The last coupe I bought was sat for 8 years outside. Not even started up or moved. After doing new fluids and second hand fuel pump replacement it went straight through mot with only advisory slightly corroded rear brake line. It also drove the best I've ever owned so I think some of them can escape...or just be very very lucky
Only a few scabs of rust at sill end although the engine bay did look tatty

I'd need a bigger driveway and a bigger bank balance!
